Klas Modin
Klas Modin has a broad research interest, stretching from infinite-dimensional geometry, geometric hydrodynamics, and shape analysis, to computational mathematics, deep learning, and medical imaging. For his work he recieved an "Ingvar Carlsson Award" from SSF in 2013, a "Marie Sklodovska-Curie Individual Fellowship" from the European Commision (Horizon 2020) in 2015, and a "Starting Grant" from the Swedish Research Council in 2017. In 2019 he was selected "Wallenberg Academy Fellow" by the Royal Academy of Sciences.
