Vid Chalmers arbetar jag att introducera ett banbrytande forskningsprogram med fokus på nanosensornteknik och artificiella cellstrukturer för att studera kemi och biofysik av celler, och neuronal kommunikation. För närvarande pågående projekt omfattar utveckling och tillämpning av artificiella cellmodeller för att studera
1) kvantitativa amperometriska mätningar på effekterna av lipidsammansättning för membran dynamik och lipidsortering i biomembran med hög kurvatur,
2) DNA-katalyserad konstgjord exocytos och
3) utveckling av millisekund tidsupplösta ultrasmå biosensorer konstruerade från enzymnanopartikelkonjugat för selektiv detektion av molekyler i hjärnan.
