Clarissa Alejandra González Chávez

Postdoc at Production Systems

Clarissa González is enrolled as a PhD Student at the Division of Production Systems since September 2018. Her background includes a Bachelor in Industrial Engineering in CETYS Universidad Campus Mexicali and a Masters in Manufacturing Systems from Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Monterrey.

Her research focuses on the intersection between servitization, digitalization and sustainability. She continuously explores the many challenges and opportunities of servitization in the context of digital transformations. Part of her focus is on the potential of servitization to ensure more sustainable organizations through value co-creation.

As part of her PhD studies, Clarissa has had collaboration and academic exchanges with University of Cambridge. The research projects where she has collaborated, have included several industrial sectors such as e-waste recycling, maritime shipping, fashion and manufacturing.
