Prof. Derek Creaser is involved in research dealing with model reduction and development for heterogeneous catalytic reactors. Particular application areas include: * Catalytic fuel reforming for fuel cell power units* Model development for full-scale diesel aftertreatment systems* Microkinetic modeling for NOx reduction catalysis* Selectivity of hydrogenation treatment for biofuel productionCommon themes in these research projects are emission control and clean energy conversion, primarily for transport applications. Chemical reaction engineering is central teaching subject.
