Jon Bokrantz har en bakgrund inom maskinteknik och produktionsutveckling och har bedrivit forskning inom industriellt underhåll sedan 2014. För att säkra svensk industris framtida konkurrenskraft fokuserar Jons forskning på Smart Maintenance.
Målen är att konkret förklara vad Smart Maintenance är, empiriskt mäta hur långt fabriker kommit med Smart Maintenance samt utvärdera vilka effekter Smart Maintenance har på industriföretag.
