Joakim Dahlman är universitetslektor och forskar inom mänsklig prestationsförmåga från medicinsk och psykologisk synvinkel. Framförallt behandlar forskningsprojekten militär sjöfart. Uppdragsgivarna är såväl svenska som utländska myndigheter och organisationer. Joakim Dahlman är med dr och har forskat sedan 1998. Han har arbetat inom försvarsforskning och transportforskning samt klinisk forskning.
