Docent vid Energi och material

Dr. Jesper Liske är Docent på avdelningen för Energi & Material. Hans forskning är inriktad mot förstå och lösa de korrosionsrelaterade problem som uppstår i kraftvärmeverk där förnyelsebara bränslen (såsom biomassa och avfall) används. Detta inbegriper både förbränning och förgasning av förnyelsebara bränslen. Forskningen ämnar till att med ökad förståelse minska korrosionen antigen genom att öka korrosionsmotståndet hos stålet eller genom att göra miljön mindre korrosiv (t.ex med hjälp av bränsleadditiv). På senare år har ett stort fokus mot BECCS (BioEnergy Carbon Capture & Storage) inletts där forskningen syftar till att få fram tekniker för koldioxidinfångning med bibehållen eller till och med ökad elproduktion.
