Charlotta has previously studied at Gothenburg University in the Department of Sociology and Work Science, and has a Bachelor in Sociology and a Master in Criminology. Charlotta started as a PhD student at the Department of Architecture September 2014 and the position is part of an interdisciplinary research project relating to injury events in the residential area. The research projects will develop new knowledge about accidents and injury events, through both registers- and case studies. The results will, for example, affect how residential design and buildings will be formed in the future, as well as the advice and recommendations to be given to parents of young children, the disabled and the elderly.
