ModElling the Regional and Global Earth system (MERGE)
Research Project, 2010
–
MERGE is a Strategic Research Area working with modelling the regional and global Climate System with focus on the interactions between the climate and the terrestrial biosphere. MERGE brings together more than 150 researchers collaborating across five Swedish universities - Lund University, Chalmers, University of Gothenburg, KTH, and Linnaeus University - and SMHI. The cutting edge research environment are experts on the development and application of detailed process models, climate models and Earth System models through disciplinary and interdisciplinary research studies as well as dialogue with the wider society on scientific knowledge and research needs.
