David Pallarès

Docent vid Chalmers, Rymd-, geo- och miljövetenskap, Energiteknik

David Pallarès fokuserar sin forskning på modellering av fluidiserade bäddar, vilka används i en rad energitekniska processer, t.ex. luft-förbränning, oxyfuel-förbränning, chemical looping-förbränning och indirekt förgasning. I och med detta är han aktiv i olika forskningsgrupper inom avdelningen. Målsättningen är att förbättra design, uppskalningen och prestanda av de studerade processerna.Hans arbete lägger särskilt fokus på användandet av icke-fossila bränslen såsom biomassa och avfall. I modelleringsprocessen ingår även experimentellt arbete som används för uppbyggandet samt validering av modellerna.David Pallarès är sedan 2009 ansvarig för det internationella mastersprogrammet Sustainable Energy Systems.
