Kamyab is an Associate Professor at the Division of Structural Engineering at Chalmers. Kamyab’s research primarily includes service life assessment of concrete structures; the goal is to maintain sustainable infrastructures. A cross-disciplinary approach, encompassing experiment, simulation and theory, is pursued to address the multi-scale multi-physics problem of durability in concrete structures. He focuses his research on major types of deterioration such as corrosion, frost, etc.
