Professor vid Tillämpad matematik och statistik

Forskningen fokuserar på systembiologi av åldrande och protein-folding sjukdomar. För att närma sig dessa problem utvecklar gruppen specialiserade dynamiska modeller kompletterat med experimentellt arbete. Målet är att förstå de mekanismer som leder till bildandet av protein-folding sjukdomar och avser biokemiska cellulära processer till ett hälsosamt åldrande och livslängd. I strävan efter dessa mål kommer viktig vetenskaplig information att vara tillgänglig för att hantera viktiga prioriteringar för folkhälsopolitiken i framtiden.
