Marcus Wilhelmsson
Marcus Wilhelmssons grupp designar fluorescenta basanaloger för DNA och RNA. Forskningen syftar till att utveckla molekyler och metoder som underlättar för forskare som vill studera nukleinsyramolekylers struktur och dynamik samt dess interaktioner med proteiner och associerade konformationändringar. Med hjälp av dessa nya verktyg kan förståelsen för livsviktiga processer i celler som t.ex. replikation, transkription, genregulering, RNA-veckning och cellupptag av RNA-baserade terapier öka.
