Yun Chen
Yun Chen is a project leader at Systems and Synthetic Biology group. His research is centered on synthetic biology and metabolic engineering to develop efficient microbial cell factories for sustainable production of both fine chemicals such as isoprenoids that can be used as fragrance, and bulk chemicals such as 3-hydroxypropionic acid that can be used as feedstocks in the chemical industry for polymer production. He is involved in teaching masters course KKR063 Metabolic Engineering.
