Docent vid Chalmers, Rymd-, geo- och miljövetenskap, Energiteknik

Fredrik Normann arbetar med emissioner från förbränningsprocesser. Hans forskning är inriktad på tekniker som reducerar emission av koldioxid (CO2) genom koldioxidavskiljning med lagring (CCS) samt av föroreningar som kväveoxider (NOx) och svaveloxider (SOx). Arbetet inkluderar modellering av detaljerad förbränningskemi så väll som absorptionsprocesser och processimulering. Fredrik är ansvarig för grundkursen i termodynamik vid Chalmers maskinprogram och handleder årligen flera examensarbeten inom området för energiteknik.
