Forskare vid Fordonssäkerhet

Johan forskar inom biomekanik med inriktning att förhindra/mildra skador i fordonskollisioner. Forskningen bedrivs främst genom datorsimuleringar med fordons och humanmodeller, men också genom databasstudier. Ett specialområde är populationsbaserade simuleringar, dvs hur en förändring påverkar hela befolkningen. Målsättningen är att kunna förutsäga effekten nya skyddssystem i termer av sparade liv/minskat lidande innan systemt är lanserat på marknaden. Johan disputerade 2015 och innan dess arbetade han över tio år med datorbaserad utveckling av bilar, främst krockegenskaper.
