Christian Müller
Christian Müller är professor på Chalmers sedan 2017. Han mottog ett ERC Consolidator Grant 2022, ERC Starting Grant 2014 och blev utsedd till SSF Framtidens Forskningsledare 2016. Han har varit en Wallenberg Fellow och sedan 2021 är han en Wallenberg Scholar.
Före sin anställning på Chalmers, där han har arbetat som forskarassistent och senare som docent mellan 2012 och 2017, genomförde han en research fellowship vid Institut de Ciència de Materials de Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC) och en tvåårig postdoc vid Linköpings universitet. Han har en Dr.Sc i materialvetenskap från Eidgenössische Technische Hocheschule (ETH) i Zürich (2008), för vilken han tilldelades ETH-medaljen. Han har även en M.Sci. och en B.A. i naturvetenskap från Cambridge University (2004).
Hans grupp fokuserar på organiska halvledares fysikaliska kemi, polymerblandningar och kompositer och utvecklar nya plastmaterial för bärbar elektronik och energiteknologi som sträcker sig från organiska solceller och termoelektricitet till högspänningskablar. Han har publicerat över 170 vetenskapliga artiklar och 3 bokkapitlar. Dessutom är han medskapare av mer än 20 patent och patenttillämpningar.
