Oskar Modin

Docent vid Chalmers, Arkitektur och samhällsbyggnadsteknik, Vatten Miljö Teknik

Oskar är docent på avdelningen för vatten miljö teknik på Chalmers. Oskar forskar inom miljörelaterad bioteknik, vatten- och avloppsvattenrening och membranteknik. Han är intresserad av att utveckla ny teknik för utvinning av resurser från avfall och avloppsvatten, säker och energieffektiv produktion av dricksvatten och rening av förorenad mark. Han är också intresserad av den grundläggande forskning som ligger bakom sådana tekniker. Några exempel på forskningsområden är mikrobiell elektrokemi (t.ex. mikrobiella bränsleceller), biologiskt upptag av organiska ämnen, membran bioreaktorer och membran biofilmreaktorer. Oskar är medlem i forskargruppen Bioresource Labs.
