Christian is Associate Professor at the Division of Engineering Education Research (EER) at the Department of Communication and Learning in Science (CLS) at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden. His research concerns both formal and informal aspects of learning, in particular technology-enhanced learning, lifelong learning and public understanding of science. Part of his current research focuses on studying Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), their pedagogy, impact and relationship with society, remote teaching, and´ flipped or blended learning models. Prior research examined the role of science and knowledge(s) in different environmental governance contexts, such as fisheries or wolf conservation.
