Professor vid Strömningslära

Håkan Nilsson är professor i strömningslära. Han utvecklar, validerar och använder en öppen källkod för att studera strömningsfenomen i en stor bredd av tillämpningar. Hans huvudsakliga tillämpningsområde är inom vattenkraft. Där ingår vattenströmning och kavitation i turbinerna, samt kylluftflödet i generatorerna. När det finns behov av särskilda experimentella studier så samarbetar Håkan med experter inom sådana metoder.
