Leif Eriksson
Leif Eriksson kom till Chalmers 2004 och befordrades till biträdande professor i radarfjärranalys år 2022. Från 2012 till 2017 var han gruppledare för forskargruppen radarfjärranalys och från 2017 till 2020 ledde han institutionskollegiet på institutionen för rymd-, geo- och miljövetenskap. Hans forskning är inriktad på utveckling av metoder för att med radardata göra mätningar av land och hav. Fokus ligger huvudsakligen på att använda syntetisk aperturradar (SAR) från satellit och flygplan för att studera skog (biomassa, avverkning, stormskador) och havsis (iskoncentration, isdrift, istjocklek) samt vind och strömmar vid havsytan.
