Rasmus Rempling
Rasmus Rempling is a dedicated researcher at Chalmers University of Technology, specialising in Building processes in general and Structural design and Construction Engineering, specifically. With a strong background in engineering science and social science methods, Rasmus is committed to advancing knowledge and innovation through rigorous interdisciplinary research and collaboration with industry partners and international scientific institutions. Rasmus is the director of international research collaborations, such as IABSE Task Group 1.7 and the national Bridge Engineering Association, Brosamverkan. He is also a member of the Development Fund of the Swedish Construction Industry. His work on a cost, time and climate-effective construction industry focuses on climate optimisation, automation and prediction by artificial intelligence, loads, structural response, construction materials, performance requirements, and project delivery, aiming to address some of the most pressing challenges in the construction industry. Rasmus has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals and regularly presents his findings at international conferences. In addition to his research, Rasmus is passionate about mentoring Phd-candidates and students and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. He believes in bridging theory and practice to create real-world impact. Outside of academia, he enjoys fishing, mountaineering, cooking and doing homework with his kids, which inspires his innovative research approach.
