Anne-Marie Tillman
Anne-Marie Tillman är sedan år 2000 professor vid avdelningen Miljösystemanalys på Chalmers. Hennes forskning omfattar utveckling av metodik för, och tillämpning av, livscykelanalys (LCA) och relaterade miljösystemanalytiska verktyg. Ett aktuellt tillämpningsområde är cirkulär ekonomi, där hon intresserar sig för hur cirkulära lösningar faller ut i ett livscykelperspektiv. Hennes samverkan med industriella aktörer i uthållighetsfrågor är omfattande och kanaliseras bland annat genom kompetenscentrumet Swedish Life Cycle Center och forskningsprogrammet Mistra REES - Resource-Efficient and Effective Solutions based on circular economy thinking.
Anne-Marie Tillman har utvecklat och givit kurser och kursmaterial i LCA och miljösystemanalys, på masters- och doktorandnivå. Tillsammans med professor Henrikke Baumann har hon skrivet en lärobok om LCA som används i hela världen, The Hitch Hiker’s Guide to LCA.
Genom sin forskning, undervisning och samverkan har Anne-Marie Tillman bidragit till utvecklingen av det miljösystemanalytiska området. Parallellt byggdes avdelningen för miljösystemanalys upp, vars chef hon var mellan 2005 och 2013.
Anne-Marie Tillman är ledamot i Kungliga ingengörsvetenskapsakademin (IVA) och sitter i styrelsen för MISTRA, Stiftelsen för miljöstrategisk forskning
