Biträdande professor vid Automation

Knut Åkesson är forskare i industriell automation. Hans intresse är rigorösa metoder för testing av verifiering av styrsystem med viktiga tillämpningar inom säkerhetskritiska autonoma system. Övriga områden som Knut arbetar med är metoder för optimering och konfigurering av produkter och produktionssystem med hög variabilitet, samt tillämpningar av datorseeende och maskininlärning.

Knut är examinator för grundkursen i reglerteknik för maskiningenjörer samt för kursen i modell-baserad design av cyber-fysiska system. Knut är även masterprogramansvarig för Systems, control and Mechatronics.
