Tünde-Maria Fülöp
Jag arbetar inom teoretisk plasmafysik med huvudsakligt fokus på magnetisk fusion och laserdriven partikelacceleration. Plasmafysik knyter samman ett antal olika fysikområden: matematisk fysik, statistisk fysik, elektrodynamik och fluidmekanik. Jag studerar plasmats stabilitet, inverkan av föroreningsjoner samt snabba partiklars dynamik. Dessa frågor är väsentliga för att kunna förstå hur man kan förbättra prestandan hos laserdrivna acceleratorer, eller hur man kan kontrollera ett fusionsplasma. Min forskning har en lång rad tillämpningar inom energiforskning, rymdfysik, medicin och grundläggande fysik.
