Rickard Everyd Bensow
Rickards forskning handlar om att förstå vad som är en bra hydrodynamisk design, t.ex. för fartygsskrov och framdrivningssystem. Målet är att minska bränsleförbrukningen och miljöpåverkan, inklusive buller och vibrationer, lägre produktionskostnader och förbättra livslängden. Det handlar också om att utveckla beräkningsmetoder för att göra detta möjligt.
Han är engagerad i utbildningen av blivande skeppsbyggare och civilingenjörer inom marin teknik i masterprogrammet Mobility engineering där han undervisar i fartygshydrodynamik, fartygsframdrivning och CFD. Han handleder även kandidat- och civilingenjörsprojekt.
