Rikard Landberg

Professor vid Livsmedelsvetenskap

Rikard Landberg är professor i Food and Health. Hans grupp studerar matens och specifika livsmedelskomponenters effekter på hälsa och sjukdomsrisk i observations-, interventionsstudier och i olika modellsystem. Växtbaserade, fiberrika livsmedels roll för aptitreglering, hormonomsättining och kardiometabola riskfaktorer har stort fokus. Gruppen utvecklar och utvärderar också biomarkörer för kostexponering som används i epidemiologisk forskning. Nutritionell metabolomik (MS- och NMR-tekniker) har fått allt större utrymme i forskningen för att finna nya biomarkörer för såväl exponeringar som sjukdomsrisk. Gruppen samarbetar med internationell expertis i statistik, epidemiologi och medicin.
