Ragnar Larsson
Ragnar Larsson är professor och avdelningschef för avdelningen material och beräkningsmekanik.
Tyngdpunkten i forskningen ligger inom kontinuums- och materialmekaniken med inriktning mot modellering/simulering av "lokaliserad deformation" som t ex sprickutveckling, med numerisk mekanik (Computational Material and Failure Mechanics). Ragnar jobbar även mycket med porösa materials modellering kopplat till interaktion med fluid- eller gasfaser. Tillämpningarna ligger inom fordonssäkerhet (crashworthiness), skärande bearbetning och processimulering av kompositmaterial.
