Erik Agrell
Erik Agrell är professor i kommunikationssystem och Fellow of the IEEE. Hans forskningsintressen ligger inom informationsteori, kodningsteori och digital kommunikation. Förutom grundforskning inom dessa områden ägnar han sig åt deras tillämpningar i optisk kommunikation, med det övergripande syftet att konstruera effektivare fiberoptiska nätverk. Han är en av grundarna till Fiber-Optic Communications Research Center (FORCE) på Chalmers, en tvärvetenskaplig forskningsmiljö. Hans forskningserfarenhet omfattar också gitter (lattices), sfärpackning och deras tillämpningar i teknologi och fysik.
